The Municipality of Bansko published a lists of its debtors that are advised to get in touch with the local tax authorities, as announced by Dir.bg Bansko. These are companies and individuals who have unpaid taxes and are unavailable at their registered address.
The list includes the names of about 140 individuals who own apartments in the ski resort – mostly Britons, Bulgarians and some Russians. If the debt is not settled by the deadline, the Municipality of Bansko will initiate compulsory tax collection procedure.
Separately, there are 99 companies that, by the end of August last year, owed over 6 million BGN in taxes and fees to the local budget.
