The village of Kozichino ( also known as Erkech) is situated on one of three partitions of eastern Stara Planina halfway between Varna and Burgas with wonderful views of the mountain ridges. The village has its own ethnographic museum. Other popular sites include a stone-built church “St. Paraskeva” and a windmill.
In the neighboring village of Kosharitsa, you can visit the Honey Museum and see traditional crafts from local people. Only 13 km from the village is Poroi dam perfect place for sport, fishing, and entertainment. One of the pearls of the Black Sea-old Nesebar is 23 km away.
